MB&F Legacy Machine 2 in Red gold Blue

Only 12 pieces make up this very limited edition, distinguished from previous LM2s thanks to a rich, deep blue dial plate, obtained thanks to a CVD process (chemical vapour deposition).

The stars of the LM2 are undoubtedly the dual “flying” balance wheels, which are now secured by the second-generation, rounded and polished bridges introduced on the most recent LM2 editions. The two fully independent regulating systems, each beating at its own rate, are averaged out by the central planetary differential. The complex movement was conceived for MB&F by award-winning watchmakers Jean-François Mojon and Kari Voutilainen.

The LM2 is a tribute to some of the greatest watchmakers ever: Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823), Ferdinand Berthoud (1727-1807) and Antide Janvier (1751-1835), three men united by their inventive genius and their experimentations with dual regulators. The LM2 is also a tribute to perhaps the greatest watchmaker today: Philippe Dufour, creator of the “Duality”, the first wristwatch to contain dual regulators and a differential.

Retail price of the LM2 Red Gold Blue is CHF 148,000 + VAT (USD 156,000 or EUR 137,000 + tax)
