And our last and certainly not the least important appointment for the day is with Parmigiani to witness the launch of the new Toric.

Live from WWG24: new releases from Parmigiani

One of our favourite brands, Parmigiani Fleurier releases revives the Toric collection. The Toric was first released 28 years ago, Parmigiani’s offering in the dress watch genre. And building on their Tonda which restored the brand name since Guido Terreni arrived as the CEO. There are two key pieces. A new rattrapante and a new small seconds. Both gorgeous watches.

Parmigiani Toric Petite Seconde

The collection only in precious metal. Two launch models are in platinum and rose gold. The retail is CHF 45k for rose gold (Sand Gold) and CHF 52k for the platinum version (Grey Celadon). Case size is 40.6mm and the look of the watch is very classical and really beautiful.

The dial is gold with a grené main treatment which gives it a rather unique texture. This treatment is hand made by grinding with a paste. Only available in pin buckle. The emphasis is purity and does not come with a date.

The movement is the PF 780. The movement is very Parmigiani, which means it is top grade.

Parmigiani Toric Rattrapante

The retail price of the Parmigiani Toric Rattrapante is CHF 135k in a rose gold case with knurled bezel.

A new release of the Rattrapante we first saw in the Chronor Anniversaire. This novelty uses the same movement but modified to remove the date. The movement was the supreme star in the Chronor, and is still the case here. Executed in gold with satin finished open worked bridges, which is hand beveled.

The dial is also in rose gold in a natural umber colour. Finishing is hand grained and looks stunning with a very beautiful texture.

We will have more on Parmigiani later. With detailed reviews and a visit to the manufacture.
