Vacheron Constantin Children’s Watchmaking Workshops June 27
A brilliant initiative: Watchmaking workshops for children from the ages of 5-12 was held at the VC Boutique in Ion. Some 60 children and their parents attended the event, which comprised of 3 watchmaking stations. The children get to design their own VC watch, work at the VC Watchmaker Bench looking at real watch movements in high magnification and even working on the movements under the guidance of the VC In-house Watchmaker. And the children also got to assemble a plastic clock to help them understand the concepts of the workings of a mechanical timepiece. Excellent initiative.
