The iconic Laureato family of Girard-Perregaux welcomes a graceful fresh-faced addition: The Laureato 38mm Ceramic White.
As a horological icon, the Laureato has a distinct personality of its own. It is defined by a polished octagonal bezel fitted on an integrated case, without the need for lugs or loops. This time, with the use of the ceramic material, the ergonomic qualities of the new Laureato 38mm Ceramic White is further accentuated.
The ceramic material is chosen to represent this elegant addition because it is light-weight, virtually scratch-proof and extremely well-tolerated by the skin. This architectural watch adopts the new material like a natural extension of its nature, enhancing the structural and ergonomic benefits of ceramic, providing comfort to the wearer.
The bracelet of the Laureato 38mm Ceramic White is an original design element in its own right. It is distinguished by its wide and entirely white ceramic satin-brushed H-shaped links as well as its domed and polished interlink elements.
The interplay of polished and satin-brushed surfaces creates heightened visual interest and enlivens the watch even though it is white, a colour whose radiance tends to absorb details.
Further accentuating its shimmering intensity, the Laureato 38mm Ceramic White features a bezel and crown in steel, whose colour is picked up in the hour-markers and hands. This bezel sparkles with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds. Their respective sizes reflect each variation in the thickness of the octagonal bezel, entirely filling it with their radiance.
In this white and steel version, the Laureato 38mm Ceramic strikes a soft and precious balance contrasted with the bold effects of depth.
