Usually footballers opt for timepieces in full gold and the usual suspects are Audemars Piguet, Hublot and Rolex. We were surprised to see Mohamed Salah wearing a Ulysse Nardin Freak when he signed from Roma for Liverpool. That got our attention . Just days ago Mohamed Salah was crowned the 2017 CAF African Player of the Year and was sporting an unusual timepiece.
A watch from an independent maker was gracing his wrist. The brand? Urwerk. The watch? A UR-105 CT Streamliner.

The UR-105 CT Streamliner is quite a new release from Urwerk and features its signature revolving satellite indication for telling the time, in addition to a cover on the front which can be opened up by the wearer to view the mechanism. The version on the wrist of Salah is the Titanium and mirror-polished steel model.

Mohamed Salah isn’t the first footballer to be seen with a Urwerk. We spotted Michael Ballack with at least two different Urwerks previously.
That concludes this football themed Spot the Watch.
