Spot the Watch: Former Footballer Olivier Dacourt wearing an A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk

Its not that often that you spot someone wearing an A. Lange & Söhne timepiece.  If you look through our spots there have only been a handful people, such as Brad Pitt, former POTUS Bill Clinton and most recently Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie owning Langes.  Today we can add former footballer Olivier Dacourt to the list.

Olivier Dacourt is retired from football and is a pundit on TV.  He is noted for his playing stints at Leeds United and Roma as a midfielder.  He was recently featured in an article for for French newspaper L’Équipe and was sporting a timepiece from A. Lange & Söhne.  He was wearing a Zeitwerk.

The Zeitwerk doesn’t look like your normal Lange timepiece such as the evergreen classic Lange 1 with its signature offset date and dial layout.   It is a fully mechanical timepiece and shows time “digitally” with a series of discs.  It has a 41.9 mm case made from White Gold.

That concludes this football themed Spot the Watch.
