Spot the Watch: Future POTUS Donald Trump & his Vacheron Constantin on Election Night

The internet provides us all with information and items of interest may pop up from the most unlikely of sources.  We brought you a Spot the Watch on future President of the United States, Donald Trump and his Rolex Day Date.  We spotted him wearing another timepiece but left it out as the Rolex was more befitting since it has been worn by a previous POTUS.  While browsing on Facebook we came across a post from the page of well known site 9GAG, showing a picture of Donald Trump on election night, with his hand resting against his head at Trump Election HQ during the evening.  What piqued our curiosity was the sight of a rectangular gold watch peeking out from under his shirt cuff.  Again no politics just watches.

The picture we left out from our previous Spot the Watch showed Trump wearing a Vacheron Constantin Historiques Ultra Fine 1968, featuring the Calibre 1120 self winding movement.  The picture was taken last year in 2015.

The Vacheron Constantin Historiques 1968

The picture from 9GAG on Election Night.  We edited out the text from the picture as it wasn’t relevant.  You can see the rectangular case profile of the watch.  It surprised us as Trump doesn’t usually wear a wristwatch most of the time, but when you are in the running to be President of the United States, knowing the time is important.

Now fast forward to the Election victory speech in the early hours of  November 9 2016.

You can see President Elect Donald Trump speaking at the lectern and peeking out from his left shirt cuff is the same gold watch on leather strap from earlier in the evening.  It looks to be the same thinness as the VC he was wearing last year.

Looks like the same Vacheron Constantin Historiques 1968 model under his shirt cuff.

We are pretty certain its the same Vacheron Constantin from last year on the wrist of Donald Trump.  Maybe this will be the watch he wears when he officially takes over as the 45th President of the United States.
