We previously brought you a Spot the Watch on Donald Trump Jr and his brother Eric Trump. Well just hours ago, their father Republican candidate Donald Trump was elected the next President of the United States in a major upset against Hillary Clinton. Again no politics just a focus on watches.
Donald Trump before his run for the White House, has previously sported a Rolex Day Date a.k.a “President”. In the picture below you can see the iconic bracelet and the cyclops positioned on the crystal over the date. He is wearing a 18k yellow gold model.

The Rolex Day Date has the nickname of “President”. One of the reasons for the nickname is due to former President of the United States Lyndon B. Johnson wearing a Day Date while in office.

It goes to show that is possible to own a Rolex Day-Date “President” beforehand and successfully make it all the way to the Oval Office. Will we see it be worn while he is in office? Probably highly unlikely but you never know. He seems to wear watches very sparingly.
