For the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, Omega announces two special editions of its Seamaster wristwatches to commemorate the games. Both are limited to 2018 pieces. The new Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra now form the Omega Limited Edition Watches for PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games.
Seamaster Planet Ocean PyeongChang 2018 Limited Edition
The Seamaster Planet Ocean PyeongChang 2018 Limited Edition is created to commomerate the countdown to the games. The colours of the Korean flag, white and blue are used as the colour palate for this watch.
The case is in stainless steel and features a polished blue ceramic dial with rhodium plated indexes, coated with white Super LumiNova with the characteristic blue glow. The hour and seconds hand are also coated with the blue glow of the Super LumiNova, while the minute hand emits a green glow.
The bezel is unidirectional, and featurs the world’s first polished blue ceramic ring with rubber and the Omega Liquidmetal diving scale, with red rubber for the first 15 mins. Omega Liquidmetal is also used for the minute scale and the dot at 12H.
The date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, and right by its side is the crown which is embossed with the Omega logo. The helium escape valve is located at 10 o’clock is embossed with a “He”.
The sapphire crystal is domed and is treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The screw in case back is engraved with the words “Planet Ocean” and “Limited Edition” as well as the Limited Edition number. The case back’s sapphire crystal is printed “PyeongChang 2018” and the Olympic Winter Games logo.
The movement is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8900.

The Seamaster Aqua Terra “PyeongChang 2018” Limited Edition
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra “PyeongChang 2018” Limited Edition is an extension of the Aqua Terra 150M collection with some notable differences.
The dial is printed with the event name “PyeongChang 2018” is inscribed using all the five colours of the Olympic rings. This is printed on the minute track of the dial. The 18 and 2 are perfectly aligned with the exact minute indixes. The dial remains in the popular blue PVD teak concept pattern.
The case is engraved with the limited edition number on the side. As with the other Omega watches for PyeongChang, and the sapphire crystal case back is printed with the official “Olympic Games PyeongChang 2018” logo.
The case is 41mm and comes with a metal bracelet, both in stainless steel.
The movement is the Omega Master Co-Axial caliber 8500.
