The second collaboration between Nomos Glashütte and The Hour Glass comes in the form of the new Tangente “Red Dot”. The first was the rather celebrated World Timer – the Zurich Weitzeit Singapore released in 2017. This new Tangente is the 38mm version in midnight blue and salmon dials, both limited to 100 pieces each. Sold exclusively on the Hour Glass Online Popup.
Nomos Tangente “Red Dot” Edition
The new Tangente “Red Dot” 2018 is a new dial rendition on the popular Tangente model. Available in two colours of dial – salmon and midnight blue, the special edition is denoted by a red dot at the 6 o’clock marker. The reference “Red Dot” is to the affectionate name “Little Red Dot” given to Singapore, due to its appearance on the map.
The movement remains the time tested, reliable Alpha. In-house manufactured in Glashütte, it is a good performer and rather pleasant to the eye. The aesthetics are nicely done with tempered blued screws, ribbing, perlage and sunburst finishes.
The online pop-up and launch of the Tangente ‘Red Dot’ 2018 exclusive capsule collection will go live at 9pm (GMT +8) on the 27th of September. Free, insured priority shipping is included in the price. And of course, the watches can also be personally picked up by calling at selected The Hour Glass and Watches of Switzerland stores in Singapore from 28 September 2018.
