MB&F releases the final edition of the HM6, now in stainless steel (a rarity for Horological Machines).

The HM6 released to great reception in 2014, Read our hands-on review in the link. And received several new editions along the way. Among those, the most interesting might be the SV in a sapphire crystal case. And now, we come to the final edition of the HM6.

The HM6 Space Pirate was first launched in titanium; 50 pieces, followed by 18 pieces in rose gold. Then came the two “SV/Sapphire Vision” editions: 10 pieces in platinum and 10 in rose gold. Last but not least, you may remember the four “Alien Nation” Pièces Uniques: crafted entirely in sapphire crystal, each with its crew of miniature aliens. The remaining 8 movements go to today’s Final Edition.

What makes the HM6 Final Edition special? First, a case in stainless steel – a very rare metal in MB&F’s production. Second, polished grooves run along the biomorphic case, accentuating the curves of the unreasonably challenging HM6 body. Dark blue hour and minute spheres match the blue winding rotor. And finally, a more generous central dome, allowing an even better panoramic view of the flying tourbillon.
