Live from WWG24: new watches from Vacheron Constantin

Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon Chronograph Collection Excellence Platine

Appearing for the first time in the Traditionnelle Platinum collection, is this novelty. The movement first used in the Harmony Collection and in the Traditionnelle in 2020.

The novelty is now fully in platinum. The case, dial, buckle are in platinum. Even the stitching on the strap is in platinum and silk.

Driving the Traditionelle Tourbillon Chronograph is the 292-part Calibre 3200, first seen on the Harmony series. This is an in-house movement, one of the first chronographs to be produced by VC who had previously depended on movements supplied from Lemania.

Vacheron Constantin Overseas with new dial colour – Intense Green

The real novelty for this new series is the Intense Green dial. The collection comprise of the 4 models, all in pink gold and all based on existing in the VC catalog: Chronograph in 42.5mm, Dual Time in 41.5mm, Self-winding in 41mm and and Self-winding with bezel set in diamonds in 35mm.

The green dial is several layers of lacquer to make the intense green. This took VC 5 years to develop.

The lacquer is applied over a sunburst metal dial. Quite stunning, and very beautifully harmonious with the pink gold.
