News just in: Davide Traxler is no longer the head of Corum and Eterna.
We first received this news from European sources who reported this yesterday .
Davide Traxler was appointed as CEO of Corum in September 2015. Tao Li, executive chairman of Citychamp European development board, said in the appointment announcement: “It is my great pleasure to have Mr Davide Traxler accepting this challenge. His extensive experiences and glorious achievements in Swiss Haute Horlogerie will allow him to develop the brand worldwide.”
At Baselworld 2017, he was appointed as Interim CEO of Eterna. Both Corum and Eterna are owned by Citychamp Watch and Jewellery Group. At the appointment, Tao Li released the statement: “Mr. Tao & Board confirmed their undisputable trust in Mr Davide Traxler and in his expertise in rebuilding Eterna’s aura via hands-on management.”
As we were preparing this article, we just received the following from the Spokesperson for Corum Watches Singapore: “He was hired as a consultant to the company and the contract was initially for 1 year, which was further extended as the successor was not found yet. However, the separation is amicable and he will be assisting the handover until end June.”
