A new model with a strong character joins the Pilot collection from Zenith. Its broad 45 mm-diameter aged steel case houses a legendary movement – the automatic El Primero 4069 chronograph calibre – and displays a vintage dial boasting perfect readability. The Heritage Pilot Café Racer proudly takes its place in this iconic line composed of sleek, powerful watches.
The Heritage Pilot Café Racer is inspired by the ‘Café Racer’ bikers movement born in England in the 1920s. Its young, rebellious fans wanted a motorcycle that was both fast (up to 160km/h) and customised, enabling them to ride from café to café on the British motorways.
El Primero 4069, Automatic 36,000 VpH (5 Hz) 50 hours The 45 mm case is made of aged stainless steel and is 14.25 mm thick. It comes with a domed sapphire crystal with double sided anti-reflective treatment. The case back is in titanium with engravings and the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM. Dial wise, it uses a slate-gray dial with grain patterns. The hour markers are treated with SuperLuminova SLN GL beige and so are the Black ruthenium-plated hands.
Armed with a high performance engine and a beautiful dial work, the watch flaunts an original, sturdy style with a retro feel. A massive thumbs up from us!
