April 26, 2016 (yes tomorrow!): The Audemars Piguet Flagship Boutique will celebrate the official reopening to much fanfare. The event will be attended by VIP clients and officiated by AP CEO François-Henry Bennahmias.
The Flagship Boutique has been open for business in a soft opening since February 2016. Located at the former premises, the boutique underwent 10 months of extensive renovations, and “represents a solid investment from Audemars Piguet in the South East Asia region as it is one of our largest points of sale worldwide, and we are looking forward to welcoming clients in our new home away from home.”, said François-Henry Bennahmias.
The retail concept attempts to bring the Vallée de Joux to the boutique. Beginning from the facade, a 10 meter high structure which takes inspiration by the trees and forests in Le Brassus, highlighting the silhouettes of the woods. The bronze brushed finishing echoes the elements within the boutique, creating a visual link.
It occupies a 196 square meter space, and is the only Audemars Piguet boutique with a magnificent 3 storey facade. The boutique itself occupies two floors in the building. The architectural concept divides the space within into two spaces. The Manufacture and The House.
A blend of wood, metal and idyllic landscapes Le Brassus immerses clients in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, birthplace of Audemars Piguet, decorate the interior.
The Manufacture includes detail product displays and a watchmaker corner. And the House incorporates a full service bar and lounge where clients can relax while taking their time to experience the brand and select their timepieces.
Base materials used, such as the stones and oak are transported from the Vallée de Joux.
Currently at the new boutique, the new and latest watches announced in SIHH 2016 are on display and can be viewed. Like these two Royal Oak 37mm Automatic in Yellow Gold from the new collection. We will be bringing you in-depth reviews of some of these watches very soon.
The boutique is open daily and is located at Liat Towers.
