Commentary
Interesting new collaboration. Tissot has always been associated with sport. Their long time sponsorship of the Grand Tours is one example of their enthusiasm and involvement with the sporting greats. But we must say, this new collaboration with NBA superstar Damian Lilliard is a bit of a surprise. The watch carries some of the signatures which characterised Damian’s style.
Using their gold PVD cased automatic PRX as a starting point, Tissot used an embossing with the number “0” on the dial instead of the wafer pattern. This being a reference to Damian’s jersey number: No. 0 with the Milwaukee Bucks. Other small but very interesting touches are the engravings on the rehaut. The four quardrants spell out DAME (reference to Dame DOLLA which is his rapper name) and TIME with DDKK and YKWTII, four catch phrases of important details in Lilian’s life. Details are spelled out in the release document below. And of course, the counter weight to the sweep seconds hand carries the stylised letter D with two strokes over it like the dollar sign $ with D instead of S.
Other than these customised touches, the watch is a standard PRX Powermatic 80 in gold PVD. Same case dimensions and the same, reliable Powermatic 80 movement is used. The Powermatic 80 is based on the ETA C07.111 which itself is derived from the ETA 2824-2. The case back carries a print of Damian in action over the movement, and the usual and special edition verbiage engravings on the rear bezel.
The Special Edition carries the same price tag as the regular gold PVD PRX, which itself carries a small SGD 200 premium over our all time favourite PRX Powermatic 80. The PRX Damian Lilliard Special Edition is a must buy for fans of this iconic NBA player and rapper.

Signature Twist on the Wrist
This creation blends the well-known features of the PRX Powermatic 80 with unique elements that reflect Lillard’s personality and career. Based on the gold PVD model variant, this special edition boasts a distinct black dial embossed with the number ‘0’, a nod to Lillard’s jersey number, creating a backdrop that’s both fresh and personal. The second hand features Damian’s monogram, a subtle yet meaningful change.
The flange of the watch reveals more personal details, with each quadrant telling a part of Lillard’s story. ‘DAME’ and ‘TIME’ adorn the top left and right corners respectively, synonymous with Lillard’s on-court moniker and clutch performances. The bottom right corner, marked ‘DDKK’, is a heartfelt homage to his family: Damian, Damian Lamonte Ollie, Kali Emma Lee, and Kalii Laheem. The bottom left corner boldly states ‘YKWTII’, an acronym for ‘You Know What Time It Is’, setting the stage for those iconic ‘Dame Time’ moments.
The transparent caseback offers a unique visual: the famous ‘Dame Time’ celebration. This element adds a layer of depth and narrative to the watch, making it not just a timepiece but a story on the wrist.
