The Northern summer is underway, and Nomos Glashütte is joining in the fun with two new additions to the Aqua family – one Ahoi and one Club. Both in siren white, powered by the neomatik caliber – automatic, stainless steel and sapphire glass. Water resistant to 200m. White dials with blue and red minute markers.
The new watches are based on the Aqua series: specifically the Ahoi and Club models. The Ahoi neomatik siren white features a 36mm stainless steel case while the Club neomatik siren white is in 37mm. Perhaps making a nice couple watch.
Both watches are 200m water resistant, and comes with a textile strap in light grey, designed by Nomos and woven to their specifications in France. Nomos claims that it looks smart, dries quickly, and gives the watch a sporty elegance. The surface of these straps are made to be robust to withstand the summer activities, the fine weave on its inner side is designed to wear comfortably.
The Club is 1mm larger in diameter and the case is simpler, without the crown guard found on the Ahoi.
The movement is both these new releases is the neomatik caliber DUW3001, an innovative movement created and manufactured in-house by Nomos in Glashütte. The movement is rather slender at 3.2mm height and the automatic winding system is highly efficient. It also features the Nomos swing system, a proprietary escapement.

I do not understand what is special about this watch. All that Nomos did was add different colors to the dial (-lately, recoloring and rearranging tge dial is all that Nomos seems to be doing). Summer colored hands? Really? Thats worth a whole writeup?
How is this watch special? Unique? New thinking? Innovative? Functions?
Too much Nomos koolaid is going around.
