We recently reviewed the bold Franck Muller Crazy Hours CH5850CH and we concluded on the incontestable qualities that the Geneva brand has to offer. For WPHH (World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie), the brand shares a sneak peek to the marvels to be presented in January at the Watchland site in Genthod, on the shores of Lake Geneva. We present the new Franck Muller V50 Vanguard Tourbillon Minute Repeater.

Franck Muller V50 Vanguard Tourbillon Minute Repeater

The new Vanguard is designed and manufactured to impress. The watch combines two highly complex and desired horological complications: the tourbillon, visible at 6 o’clock and the minute repeater.

The V50 Vanguard has an architectural construction. It is cased in the brand’s signature tonneau shaped case. The complexity of the Frack Muller calibre is revealed through the open dial and the skeletonised movement. The watch uses a total of 389 components and offers 60 hours of power reserve. The movement has a rather slow balance wheel of 2.5Hz.

Reference V 50 L RMT SQT is a spectacular appearance. The watch is a showcase of Franck’s Muller expertise for high complications respecting the traditions of Haute Horlogerie.
