Commentary

The novelties are based on their best selling line – the Orion – a classic three hand watch. The new models are designed with a classic black dial, an essential Gala dress watch. The novelty is built on the sober Orion vibes and has a slight bombé the very classical dial, and equipped with domed sapphire crystal. The dial is black and just as elegantly curved as the lenticular stainless steel case. The seconds are displayed in a separate sub-dial, which is subtly integrated into the main dial. The movements are all in-house, with the 36.4mm and 38.5mm non-date versions being powered by the DW3001, the 40.5mm with date by the DUW 6101.

Orion neomatik new black: The new model from NOMOS Glashütte represents style, sophistication, and beauty in three refined versions. All three watches are water-resistant to 5 atm. With a diameter of 36.4 millimeters, Orion neomatik new black with gold applique and silver hands is the smallest watch in the new series from NOMOS Glashütte. It is powered by the manufacture caliber DUW 3001 with the NOMOS swing system and a bidirectional winding rotor.

In rich gold on deep black, the date numerals in the extra-large date window are perfectly legible. The diameter of the stainless steel case is 40.5 millimeters.

Three sizes and two manufacture calibers

The new black Glashütte dress watch is available in three versions: with diameters of 36.4, 38.5, and 40.5 millimeters and with silver or gold accents on a black galvanized dial. An elegant trio with a tailored fit on the wrist, thanks to the ultra-thin automatic calibers DUW 3001 and DUW 6101. Even the largest of the automatic watches, Orion neomatik 41 date new black, is less than 10 millimeters in height. The date model also stands out with its large, black date window with gold numerals at three o’clock. Like the date ring in the same color as the dial, the large date window is also a NOMOS feature—made possible by the date ring being placed around the movement.

The stainless steel case of the automatic model has a diameter of 38.5 millimeters. Inside is the NOMOS manufacture caliber DUW 3001. The black galvanized dial has silver hands and embossed hour markers.

Powered by the patented date caliber DUW 6101, in which the date ring is placed around the movement. This keeps the watch slender and enables a particularly large date window.
