We thought it may be coming from Tudor before Baselworld and turns out it did up happening! Tudor introduced to the world their first in-house movement, the MT5621. The first watch to feature the movement? Introducing the Tudor North Flag.
A cool looking timepiece on first glance. The yellow accents certainly do provide a nice contrast to the black dial. The indicator at 9 o’clock is for the Power Reserve and the date is located at 3 o’clock. The watch is made from 316L stateliness steel and is 40mm in size.
See the three words at the 6 o’clock position in the picture above: Chronometer Officially Certified. This represents a step forward for Tudor. As noted in the opening paragraph, this watch is the first to feature the in house movement by Tudor. The manufacture movement MT5621. This has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, has a non magnetic silicon balance spring, and is certified by the COSC.
The watch is available in two variations. With a stainless steel bracelet, or a yellow accented black leather strap.
Apart from looking great, there is one other major draw card about this watch. The price.
The leather strap model will be $3,550 US Dollars and the bracelet model will be $3,650 US Dollars.
These two watches represent tremendous value!
