Romain Jerome has enhanced its existing Steampunk collection with a totally new and refreshing design, featuring a smaller case. Introducing the Romain Jerome Steampunk Auto 46.
We have always liked the steampunk look on watches and the new Steampunk Auto 46 looks pretty cool! It is inspired by the ocean liners of the 20th Century.
The Steampunk inspiration is visible throughout the design of the timepiece, from its bezel – in either rusted steel or Gunmetal steel – to its retro-futuristic dial. The oversized Roman XII and VI numerals are highlighted in either steel, black gold or red gold with RJ’s “rough” finish and matching minute and hour hands.
The Romain Jerome Steampunk Auto Red
The tips of the hands recall anchors and browse through the dial, revealing each detail as time passes. Another strong reference to the ocean liners is revealed by the seconds hand at 9 o’clock, mirroring a propeller.
The Steampunk Auto Gunmetal Black
The RJ logo has been delicately engraved at 3 o’clock whilst the crown recalls the material of each case : steel, red gold or black PVD-coated steel.
