Live broadcasts from Baselworld ends. -

The new Press Centre at Baselworld 2019 is a huge improvement over the earlier editions. Now situated strategically right in the middle of Hall 1.0, where the Swatch Group used to be.

We just finished our last appointment at Baselworld 2019, and thus another one is done and dusted. This is my 21st Baselworld attendance, and the show has changed much over the two decades.

Contrary to what some reports, the price of the famous Baselworld sausage is not quite as expensive claimed, but still pricey enough.

Over the last six days, we have brought you no less than 40 “Live from Baselworld” reports directly from the Basel Messe floors. I am totally exhausted. Physically as I have had walked a total of approximately 43 km (according to my iPhone pedometer). And mentally, as I have seen, photographed and made mental notes on literally hundreds of watches. I will be making my journey back to Singapore, with a short break in Paris in between.
