We are excited to be at Watches & Wonders 2025. Once again. After nearly 30 years for Peter, he is still excited to go. And Stanley’s second WWG has also got him super psyched and excited. We talk about what is new and happening next week in Geneva…and beyond.

Pre-Watches & Wonders

Stanley will have left for Switzerland by the time this article and video is published. He is taking his pre-WWG vacation visiting Stuttgart and Munich to feed his other great passion – automobiles. In Stuttgart, he will visit Porsche and Mercedes Benz, and BMW in Munich.

Peter leaves for the Switzerland on Saturday evening, and will rendezvous with Stanley on Sunday morning in Geneva. First order of business is to visit the Gerald Charles Atelier and Museum. Gerald Charles will open the facilities exclusively for us, and even have a watchmaker present. We will be doing a video on the atelier and museum.

On Monday, we have a free day and will likely take some time to do some sight seeing and rest before the madness of the rest of the week begins.

Watches & Wonders – four days in PalExpo

The show proper starts on April 1. Seriously, not April Fool’s day, but first day of the WWG25. This year, some 80 maisons are exhibiting at PalExpo. And we only have 4 days to cover it. As a sponsored journalist, Peter will focus 100% on the brands at PalExpo. And even then, we will be picking and choosing those which interest us, and which we think will interest you.

On Saturday, we will visit the PalExpo to see what it is like on Public Day. From Saturday through to Monday April 7, the show will be open to the public, who can purchase tickets at PalExpo or many will be given tickets by their Authorised Dealers to attend. The mood of PalExpo will be different. For us, the pace will slow down. Almost all the Press Relation staff of the maisons would have gone home by then, at least the regional (South East Asia) ones. And we don’t have any firm appointments during the day. And as Stanley is self sponsored, he will be taking some time to visit the other exhibitions held at the same time. Time to Watches with independents are just across the road from PalExpo, and many other independents are showing at IceBergues and various downtown Geneva hotels. He will visit them and make content, but as mentioned, Peter as a sponsored journalist will be respecting the wishes of his hosts and will only cover WWG exhibiting maisons.

Post-Watches & Wonders

On Sunday, we will be picked up buy Hermès to visit their manufacture. But first will do the roundup video episode for WWG25 at our hotel at Palafite in Neuchâtel.

We will also visit the movement partner Vaucher as well as Chronode. They have arranged for a discussion with Jean-François Mojon, the Chronode principle. And we are super excited to be discussing complicated movements with him

Both Stanley and Peter fly back to Singapore on Wedesday April 9.
