We were at the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the re-opening of Vacheron Constantin’s newly renovated boutique in Singapore. Here is a glimpse of what it looks like.

Vacheron Constantin re-opens newly renovated boutique in Singapore

The new boutique spans over an area of 150 square meters and is located on the third floor of Ion Orchard.

Carrying the distinctive brass facade with the iconic Malteze Cross design, the space is very elegant and exudes of the styling we typically associate with a grand old maison like VC.

Looking into the boutique, we see the glass display cases showing the watches. Here, a selection of timepieces, including Les Collectionneurs and Les Cabinotiers are displayed.

A special corner for customisation of straps.

A watchmaker is stationed full time at the boutique to attend to the technical needs of clients.

Two separate, private salons can be carved out for intimate discussions, but can also be opened up into an inviting lounge area either separately or in combination.

“By relocating and expanding our historical boutique on Orchard, Vacheron Constantin is acknowledging Singapore watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs as one of the highest level in South-East Asia. The new boutique at ION Mall  is more than an haute horlogerie showroom—it is designed to offer a unique experience that blends the Maison’s 270-year heritage, craftsmanship and technical excellence with the featuring of local inspired elements.”

As usual in Singapore, the opening is an auspicious event, lauded by Lion Dances.

Vacheron Constantin has two boutiques in Singapore, one in Ion which is featured here, and the other in Marina Bay Sands.
