Finally, we have decided to do our first Collector Stories series video with the Chief Editor, a veteran collector and watch journalist, and he talks about how he started to collect watches. And some highlights of his collection.

This is also a new episode of The Deployant Show, now Episode 4. And we have mostly kept to our intent to do an episode every month. And with this, we kick off a series which we will call Collector Stories. The intent is to explore with collectors, their journey, their aspirations and frustrations and their collection. I will be the subject of this first video in this series. This video is rather long, almost 40 minutes. But we hope it interesting enough for you to watch it completely. It is heavily peppered with anecdotes of important events in the industry. Including the origin story of Renaud et Papi (now AP Le Locle), the revival of IWC, JLC and A. Lange & Söhne, and many others. And if you want to jump around, the video has many sections which you can access directly.

So without further ado, let’s go!
