Spot the Watch: Jason Statham, Fate of the Furious

We know from previous experience that Jason Statham is a WIS and likes his timepieces.  He also likes to wear timepieces in some of his films, as we showed you in our spot of Mechanic: Resurrection.   He is known to have a love of Panerai timepieces and these regularly made an appearance in the trilogy ofTransporter movies that he made.  In the latest film of the Fast and The Furious franchise, Fate of the Furious a timepiece was once again on his wrist.

Now since the Fate of the Furious is a very fast paced and action packed film, identifying the watch could have been a problem.  Luckily just like the time we were the first to spot the Breguet on the wrist of Ben Affleck in Batman vs Superman,  movie stills gave us a nice clear shot of the watch in question.

Which watch you ask?  It was from Panerai.  Since the picture is very clear, deducing which particular model it was easy.  It was the PAM 384 Radiomir 8 Days.

You can see the distinctive Radiomir shaped case and wire lugs.  For this model the case is made from black ceramic, giving it a stealth look.  The signature linear power reserve is also visible on the dial.

The movement powering the PAM 384 is the P2002/3.  It is manually wound and has a power reserve of eight days.

That concludes this Fast and the Furious themed Spot the Watch.
