This week’s Spot the Watch is on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. We spotted him wearing an IWC timepiece that you don’t see everyday. It seems the watch is his daily wearer and it was on his wrist during a casual get together with the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama recently. Again no politics just watches.
Which IWC is on the wrist of Prime Minister Trudeau? An IWC Portuguese Regulateur in stainless steel. A Regulateur style wristwatch displays the time slightly differently. The hour is indicated in a sub dial at the 12 o’clock position and the minutes are displayed conventionally with hand from the centre which makes a full revolution every 60 minutes. To complete the layout the seconds are located in a sub dial at the 6 o’clock position. The regulateur style is based on clocks which had the same layout to allow for accurate setting of timepieces.
Close up of the watch on the wrist and you can see the hour sub dial at the 12 o’clock position, the central minute hand and the sub dial for the seconds.
The Reference Iw544401 in stainless steel, the same model on the wrist of the Canadian Prime Minister.
A different style of timepiece which you won’t see everyday and an interesting choice for the Canadian Prime Minister.
That concludes this edition of Spot the Watch.

I am the one bringing politics? Disliking politics is not “politics”.
I guess a socialist wearing a “regulator” makes sense.
Seems like you’re the one brining politics and your bias into this (see: “Bambama”). It’s simply a politician wearing, nothing was mentioned about Trudeau’s platform or agenda.
No need the mention his agenda, is enough to just mention him, pal.
Fuck off, commie, let us enjoy watches not the politicians
Why do you have to put politics in it. Who cares who Trudeau or Bambama wears?
