Sinn releases two additions to their Frankfurt collection with a World Time and a Financial District watch with sunburst blue dials. Available from February 2020.

Commentary
The Frankfurt series was first unveiled in 1999, and was a landmark for Sinn. The first Financial District watch featured two timezones, coupled with a chronograph. The words “Frankfurt am Main” are inscribed on the dial, the first Sinn watch to be so designated. The watch kept the legacy of the traditional Sinn tool watch image, but ventured into the classical and elegant. The intent of the watch was for the traders in the Frankfurt financial center. This watch was very elegant, especially for a Sinn, and proved to be a success. Sinn has expanded the series into an entire Frankfurt collection with models with and without chronograph, as well as in various metal options. The movements have continued to be upgraded over the years, but always in keeping with an eye to a reasonable budget and were chosen for robustness, reliability and usability.
The new models – the 6068 B and 6060 B, continues in this vein, and the watches are specified in stainless steel cases and a beautiful blue dial with a sunburst decoration. Both references exist in the current catalog in a black dial, though a recent quick google search revealed that the black dialed models are not available from most sources. Perhaps it is being phased out in favour of this new blue dial version. The blue dialed versions have a small premium over the black dial ones – a very modest increase of only EUR 60 for the 6068 and EUR 40 for the 6060.
The watch is delivered with both a steel bracelet and a leather strap, together with tools to enable the owner to swap on his own.

The model also features two time zones that can be read simultaneously. The movement is decorated with Geneva stripes and blued screws. Sapphire crystal is used for both the watch crystal and the transparent case back, offering a view of the bull and bear rotor engraving.
While the case is made of polished stainless steel, the appliqués attached to the blue dial are luminous, along with the hour and minute hands.
The watch is also waterproof and pressure-resistant up to 10 bar and resistant to low pressure.
Model 6068 B comes in a fine wooden case with a stainless-steel fine link bracelet, cowhide strap, a band replacement tool, spare spring bars, an Eschenbach watchmaker’s loupe, a care cloth and a brochure.
