Leroy is participating in the 6th edition of the Only Watch Charity Auction. Introducing the Leroy Chronomètre Observatoire piece unique. The watch is made from a material that most people would not normally associate with Leroy.
The dial, case, and movement are made of aluminum. The watch is inspired by a historical timepiece in the brand’s museum: an aluminum travel clock with grande sonnerie dating from 1894. The dial has Arabic numerals for the hours and a small red diamond is located at the 9’clock position.
The hand-wound Leroy Manufacture caliber L200 features an innovative, direct impulse escapement with 98 hours of power reserve – reflecting the independent brand’s focus on precision.
This unique watch will be sold in Geneva on 7 November 2015 during the Only Watch charity auction, with all funds raised benefiting medical research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
