New: TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Year of the Horse
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Year of the Horse Ref. CBS221D.BA0048 retails at CHF 7,450 inclusive of tax.

Commentary
A rework of the very popular TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. Not so much as the basics like the case, bracelet or even the movement. But a fresh look at the dial, with accents of red on the sub-dial, the chronograph sweep seconds and the red date window with the numeral 7 replaced with the Chinese character for horse. The horse is the seventh position in the Chinese zodiac.

Otherwise, all else is the same. As mentioned the 39mm steel case with its glassbox domed sapphire crystal and 5 link beads of rice bracelet is not changed. As are the pump styled chronograph pushers and crown. The TH20-07 movement is also retained, but now the caseback glass carries the motif of a horse wearing a No. 7 saddlecloth in full gallop..

The dial glows with a warm ember gradient, a fusion of deep crimson and champagne gold, evoking the fiery vitality of the legendary Fire Horse and the timeless elegance of the TAG Heuer Carrera collection.

At 9 o’clock, the numeral “7” displayed on the date is replaced by a meticulously crafted motif of the Chinese character “马” (Horse), honoring the Horse’s seventh position in the Chinese zodiac cycle, uniting Eastern symbolism with Swiss precision in a subtle yet powerful expression of craftsmanship.

The exclusive Beads-of-Rice bracelet, finely brushed and polished, enhances both sophistication and ergonomic comfort. Together with the TAG Heuer Carrera collection’s signature elongated lugs, it reinforces the harmonious geometry and ergonomic flow of the design.
