New: SEVENFRIDAY T03 Tiger Editions

Sevenfriday releases their Year of the Tiger watches in two colourways- red and green. Introducing the Sevenfriday Tiger Series T3/04 Grrr-een and T3/05 Grrr-ed. Both limited to 500 pieces in each colour.

Editorial commentary

Yes, we know, we are a bit slow off the block with this. The release of the 500 x 2 limited edition series went on sale starting 1 February 2022, but a quick check on the Sevenfriday website shows that the T3/04 Grrr-een model is still available, while the T03/05 Grrr-ed one is no longer listed…though this may not mean that they are sold out, as you may still be able to get them from your nearest authorized dealer. In Singapore, the Tiger Editions are available at SEVENFRIDAY Space Raffles City (#02-08B), Red Army Watches ION Orchard (#B3-03) and Red Army Watches / Watch Wonderland Suntec City (#01-470/472).

The watches are typical of Sevenfriday releases…the same cool chic vibes, and tailored for the Year of the Tiger with the tiger theme. The new releases are part of the T-series Tiger Editions are smaller, thinner and lighter than other Sevenfriday collections.

Interesting details on the dial of the T3/04 and T3/05 are the multi-layer dial construction with a gradient green or red lens. And the motif of a Tiger’s head at 9 o’clock as well as an urban junglescape at 3 o’clock. The look of the watches are kind of a street style vibe.

Also, in keeping with the trend, Sevenfriday dips its toes in the NFT universe, and each watch comes with not only NFC authentication, but an NFT digital certificate of ownership and a NFT collectible digital image (we understand this is for a limited time only, but have not been told if it is still available…but ask for it when you buy!) which can be traded in the Sevenfriday App (Android or iOS) initially, and eventually on the marketplace. Sevenfriday does not specify when this can happen, or which marketplace platforms, so we assume this is a current work in progress, and they will update when it gets sorted out.

If you’re fast enough that is. You see this latest offering from SF is an OFF series, limited to 500 pieces each in either Green (T3/04) or Red (T3/05) to celebrate the year of the Tiger which starts on 1st Feb 2022.

Now when you register your T-Tiger in our proprietary APP, SEVENFRIDAY will offer you your very own NFT, a digital certificate, authenticated by a blockchain contract, attesting to your ownership of a genuine SEVENFRIDAY product!

But that’s not all – For a limited period, you can also elect to receive an NFT collectible, a unique digital image, with which you can start your digital journey, by using it as your profile in the App or even trading it if you so wish! We all know NFTs are new and at times a bit complicated to grasp. That’s why our IT wizards will have left some instructions
in the APP and will also indicate some of the cool future digital offerings we will have in store for you and your friends!

The first thing you’ll notice is its very distinctive dial, something we all have come to expect from the little boffins at SEVENFRIDAY. Founded on a four-layer construction, the dial is made of a red semitransparent lens material (green for the T3/04) with the underlayer skeletonized to represent a Tiger’s head at 9 and an urban jungle habitat at 3. And the whole elegantly surrounded by a brushed galvanic bronze ring.

Made of 316L PVD black steel, the case is ready to deal with any of the challenges the Urban Jungle throws at you! The brushed and polished bezel will shine through it all, and the red lacquer filled crown will urge you along!

Considering this Year we welcome the Water Tiger, we’ve also made sure that the T-Tiger is waterproof to 3ATM and protected by a K1 mineral glass! And the whole watch will be securely strapped to your wrist by a combination of leather and red canvas strap. And if you’re colour blind or more environmentally inclined the T3/04 will be available with matching leather and green canvas strap
