Commentary
Yet another colourway for the popular Bear Grylls Survival Master chronograph. This time executed in a very apt olive green frequently associated with the military. This version uses a black Carbonox+ case measuring a generous 45mm with a matching Carbonox+ uni-directional bezel.
The dial is in olive green, with a textured surface which somehow makes the watch look tougher. The accents at the tip of the hour, minute and seconds hands are in orange, as is the crown and Bear’s logo.
The usual gas tubes in two colours – green and orange are used, and these provide great legibility under all lighting conditions.
The watch sports a Ronda quartz chronograph movement, with a compass clipped on the strap.

Luminox unveils the new colourway of the Bear Grylls Survival Master LM3741.OLIVE, a limited-edition chronograph with only 500 pieces worldwide. Continuing its longstanding partnership with global survival icon Bear Grylls, Luminox introduces an earthy olive-toned addition to the existing Bear Grylls Survival Master 3740 series, built for those who thrive in nature’s toughest environments.
This special edition features an olive tone chosen to reflect the brand’s pursuit of camouflage and natural foliage. From the dial to the rubber strap, the colour blends seamlessly with the jungle while evolving into a quiet but unmistakable presence on the wrist. It represents both strength and subtlety, capturing the essence of outdoor exploration and tactical readiness.
The LM3741.OLIVE is built for reliability, featuring a 45mm ultra-robust CARBONOX™+ case and uni-directional bezel that make the timepiece exceptionally lightweight yet durable. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clarity and scratch resistance, complemented by silver hour and minute hands for contrast against the olive dial for clear time reading ability. The timepiece is fitted with 18 Luminox Light Technology tubes, providing constant visibility for up to 25 years and ensuring legibility in any lighting condition.
Designed as a professional survival companion, the chronograph offers 300-meter water resistance, and an olive vulcanized rubber strap equipped with a detachable compass, offering quick directional reference in the field. The dial also incorporates an SOS Morse Code guide, a small but vital reminder for emergency communication in the wilderness.
As with all watches in the Luminox x Bear Grylls collaboration, this limited edition carries Bear Grylls’ signature touches, including his logo and motto “Never Give Up” on the dial.
