New: Angelus Cronografo Telemetro Blue Ministeriale
The retail price of the Angelus Cronografo Telemetro Blue Ministeriale Ref. 0CHCQ.B02A.V1526Q in yellow gold is EUR 42,500 and Ref. 0CHCS.U02A.C1526S in steel is EUR 22,700. Both prices are incl. VAT. The yellow gold is limited to 10 pieces and the steel to 20 pieces.
Commentary
We have always had an interest in Angelus’ chronographs. Particularly the Chronograph Télémètre, which is what this novelty is based on.
In our examination of the release, it seems that the only difference between the base model released last year and this novelty is the blue dial. Called Blu Ministeriale, it is a deep blue which is a nice reference to Italian chic. And ably supported by red accents throughout. There is no doubt the new release is very refined, discreet and elegant. While the 2025 release gives very vintage vibes.
The same C.5000 manual winding movement is used in the same case.

We note that price wise, the new Cronografo’s retail is higher than the 2025 base collection release watches. The steel has gone up from EUR 17.9k to EUR 22.7k. Likewise the gold has increased from EUR 32.3k to EUR 42.5k. Rather significant increases in our books. Considering that the only significant differences is the dial colour, and the admittedly interesting story of the Blue Misteriale. And of course, the year separating the pricing.
The limited editions and limited availability through only 4 stores (viz Verga 1947 in Milan, Montres & Bijoux in Genoa, Camparini Gioielli in Reggio Emilia et P. Bastiani in Trieste) in Italy, notwithstanding. The release mentions that some of the casebacks will be engraved with the names of these 4 retailers, but no further elaboration on which will have this additional verbiage, or how it will look like. The release is also silent as to the allocation split between the 4 retailers.

Designed for Italy and developed in collaboration with a select group of Italian retailers, the Cronografo Telemetro Blu Ministeriale reinterprets the blue of Italian authority in a limited edition that combines classical elegance with technical sophistication. The Blu Ministeriale is more than a simple colour variation of the Angelus Chronographe Télémètre; it is a concept in its own right, one in which colour becomes a common thread linking the watch, its origins and watchmaking culture.
Italian at heart
Angelus chose Blu Ministeriale as the central theme of a project conceived for Italy with Italy: a select group of retailers, limited distribution, a distinctive visual profile and an aesthetic defined by restraint, elegance and a strong sense of ceremony. This limited edition is the embodiment of an identity, a territory and a narrative: the visible expression of a dialogue between Swiss watchmaking expertise and Italian sensibility.
Blu Ministeriale: Italy’s official blue
Blu Ministeriale holds a special place in the Italian imagination. Deep, rich and restrained, this shade of blue recalls official vehicles and, more broadly, a whole world associated with Italy’s public institutions. Neither black, nor grey, nor ostentatious, it embodies a refined discretion that is immediately recognisable.
Some colours transcend fashion and express an attitude, a status and a culture. Blu Ministeriale is one such colour. Understated and confident without being austere, it evokes light leather interiors, gold detailing, official silhouettes and a distinctive sense of formal Italian elegance. It is neither a sporting blue, nor a nautical blue, nor the electric blue of the 1970s, but a shade intended to convey enduring presence and stature.
An idea, a chronograph, a story
Applied to the chronograph dial, this shade of blue goes beyond simple aesthetics, becoming an expression of Italian style, culture and heritage. This distinctive hue gave rise to a special edition of the Angelus monopusher chronograph: ten pieces in yellow gold and twenty in steel, developed for the Italian market and available exclusively through four selected retail partners: Verga 1947 in Milan, Montres & Bijoux in Genoa, Camparini Gioielli in Reggio Emilia et P. Bastiani in Trieste. The project highlights the role of these family-owned retailers, which have become true points of reference for collectors over the years.
The Blu Ministeriale on the dial is intense and deep. It shifts with the light without ever becoming too bright, retaining a strong but perfectly controlled presence. The grained surface adds texture and depth, while the satin-finished flange introduces a subtle contrast. The gilded numerals and hour markers contribute warmth and elegance. Used sparingly, the touches of red bring a graphic yet refined accent.
The technical foundations
With its 37 mm diameter, compact yet assertive presence on the wrist, and chronograph pusher integrated into the crown, the Cronografo Telemetro Blu Ministeriale follows directly in the footsteps of the Chronographe Télémètre, winner of the Chronograph Prize at the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
It is powered by the A5000 calibre, an integrated manual-winding chronograph movement manufactured by Angelus. Featuring a column wheel and horizontal clutch, it is equipped with a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 42-hour power reserve. The timepiece’s architecture underlines Angelus’s technical savoir-faire and its commitment to the great tradition of the classic chronograph.
A discreet celebration of excellence
Angelus and its partners have chosen to limit this edition of Blu Ministeriale to 10 pieces in 18-carat gold (3N) and 20 in stainless steel. The case back is engraved with “Uno di Dieci” or “Uno di Venti”, emphasising the decidedly exclusive nature of each watch.
Some pieces include the signature of one of our four partners on the dial in a subtle tribute to a 20th-century watchmaking tradition that saw leading retailers add their name to watches that would later become horological icons.
The Cronografo Telemetro Blu Ministeriale embodies a sophisticated dialogue between Switzerland and Italy, where Swiss watchmaking expertise meets Italian refinement.
