The price is CHF 28,900, before tax.

The movement is a development with Concepto. And is inspired by the original watch released by Louis Moinet in 1816.

The original Louis Moinet Chronograph which lay claim to its invention. The watch case is in silver and bears four hallmarks testifying to the date when work on it was started (1815) and then completed (1816).The hallmarks are 1. Association des Orfèvres de Paris (goldsmith’s guild); 2. Master’s mark; 3. Second rooster (Ag 900); 4. Guarantee No 815.

The movement of the Louis Moinet 1816 is new and the feel of the start, stop, reset is very soft but positive feel to it. The minute counter is jumping instantaneously. The dial is almost a complete replica of the original, reduced in size and made with modern methods. Case is in titanium 40.6mm.

The new bracelet is very supple and rather nice. This is the first metal bracelet for Louis Moinet.
