The new boutique at Quai des Bergues 27, Geneva

I will be attending the opening cocktail happening later today, but managed to get a photo of the new premises when I walked past earlier today. Here is how it looks like this morning.

The space is interesting. With raw stone walls with American walnut furniture, midnight blue Alcantara, the new boutique is more than just a boutique to sell watches. But a refined, artistic space for the collector to browse, discover and engage.

Two new references: Hands-on Impressions

Two new watch references are released to celebrate this new boutique opening. The first is the Quai des Bergues Midnight in Geneva 2026 with an aventurine dial and the second is the Place Vendôme Complicitié in a Glacier Blue dial.

The Quai des Bergues “Midnight in Geneva”

This new rendition of the Quai des Bergues will now be 40.5mm instead of 42mm in the 2016 Quai des Bergues we covered then. There is another version released in 2019 which is also in an aventurine dial, and known as “Midnight in Geneva”, a limited edition of 18 pieces, a nod to the Czapek’s first modern boutique in Geneva at Rue de la Corraterie 18.

A smaller 39.5mm version was released in 2019. And this novelty is mid size.

Today’s novelty has not only a new and smaller case size, but is in stainless steel instead of precious metal, and the dial is a dark blue aventurine.

The series is also a limited edition of 18 pieces. The movement is unchanged since 2016 as the SXH1, and was revised with a new escapement in 2021.

The Place Vendôme Complicité Glacier Blue

This is a new dial version of the Place Vendôme Complicité, a watch introduced by Czapek based on the work of Bernhard Lederer. This novelty has a brand new Glacier Blue dial a platinum case and is a limited edition of only 10 pieces.
