Kerbedanz 65′ 27″ FAQ

What is special of this time only watch, showing the hours and minutes?

The speciality is the poetic expression of passing time. The diamond marker for the hour meets the minute marker exactly 11 times over a day, with a lapse of 65 minutes an 27 seconds each interval. This meeting is not by chance, but a mathematical alignment. And occurs in every single two hand watch ever made. But the dialogue resonates because of the poetry of the expression. That somehow, fate brings the rendezvous each time. Further, the watch has two dials, both the same, except that on the back one diamond precedes the rendezvous and another after, while the third middle diamond meets

What is the case diameter, and how does it wear?

The case is 38mm and quite well proportioned for an understated elegant dressy watch. The fit on the author’s 180mm flat wrist is good.

How much are the 65’27”

Pricing are as follows: * 18k 4N Rose Gold – “Celestial Blue” dial – Limited to 65 pieces – CHF 40,000 (excl. tax) * Palladium 950 – “Arctic Blue” dial – Limited to 27 pieces – CHF 46,000 (excl. tax) * Grade 5 Titanium – “Jet Black” dial – Limited to 65 pieces – CHF 30,000 (excl. tax) * Grade 5 Titanium – “Celadon Green” dial – Limited to 9 pieces – CHF 30,000 (excl. tax) * 18k 4N Rose Gold with diamond-set bezel and lugs (white & cognac brilliant-cut diamonds) – Limited to 27 pieces – CHF 55,000 (excl. tax)

How is the movement finishing?

We could not inspect the movement as the watch features two dials. The general finishing of the dial, which is made by Comblémine (Voutilainen) and the case (unknown), is par for the course. We did feel the gold case is better finished than the palladium.
