TAG Heuer and Watches of Switzerland are proud to present a pop-up store at Paragon from 8th to 21st March featuring the world of American artist Alec Monopoly.
From 8th to 21st of March, TAG Heuer will be unveiling a pop-up store at Paragon Singapore shopping mall. This uniquely themed pop up store, aptly named URBANArts, is presented in partnership with retailer Watches of Switzerland and will showcase a series of artworks by TAG Heuer’s Art Provocateur Alec Monopoly.
TAG Heuer will showcase pieces from its 2018 collection throughout the exhibition. The collection includes new watches with a focus on ladies watches with the new Connected Modular 41, designed for small wrists, the link with diamond bezel and strap, as well as the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady with interchangeable straps. Also part of the 2018 collection are the Connected Modular 45 full diamonds – the most expensive connected watch in the world – the sporty and elegant Aquaracer, the comfortable and elegant Link Chronographs, and the Formula 1 Men, designed for life in the fast lane.
Alec Monopoly is a renowned artist who owes his fame to the character who shares his name, Mr. Monopoly. He has depicted the diminutive and debonair banker in every conceivable situation with rich, colourful works that are filled with humour. A street painter and graffiti artist at heart, Alec Monopoly’s artworks and unconventional expression of creativity are a perfect marriage with TAG Heuer’s DNA in celebrating the inner rebel in everyone.
A highlight of the showcase will the Alec Monopoly Special Edition Aquaracer 300m Calibre 5. This special edition is the last in the world, of a very limited series of 5 Aquaracer timepieces, which were hand-painted by Alec Monopoly himself. A silent auction of this unique watch will be held throughout the duration of URBANArts, The Hour Glass Limited undertakes to donate the net proceeds of the winning bid to National Kidney Foundation Singapore. Auction results will be announced on 21st March, 3pm at this pop up store.
