We caught up with Czapek CEO, Xavier de Roquemaurel at the new boutique at Quai de Bergues, right next door to where the original boutique at No 29 was established in 1839. The new boutique today stands at No 27. Cavier explains the novelties released in Geneva Watch Days 2026.

Video: Xavier de Roquemaurel talks about the return to Quai des Bergues and novelties for 2026

In the video, Xavier explains the design of the new boutique, the rationale for the Quai des Bergues Midnight in Geneva, the design inspiration for the Complicitié Glacier Blue, and two additional references – the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue as well as the re-release of the Promenade Transparencies Veridian Green. Also discussed is the interesting story of friendship between Xavier and Bernhard Lederer which led to the original Complicitié released in 2023. A new version to celebrate the boutique is released this year in a Glacier Blue dial.

Handling the Czapek Releases

This was discussed in our Live Update article linked here.

The Transparencies Aqua Blue was also discussed in the video. It was released in August this year as a limited edition of 38 pieces, which is now sold out.

But the surprise is the Transparencies Veridian Green which was released a couple of years ago. At launch it was not popular, is now re-energised, and demand is now high for it. A few pieces remain unsold, and now available. As discussed in the video, both Xavier and I thought the green one is even more beautiful.
