Commentary
While the collaboration between Breitling and Aston Martin Aramco F1 is not a surprise, the rumours has been bubbling for a while already, but last month’s announcement is somewhat of interest. Breitling has announced this as a long term partnership, with many other aspects in the collaboration with Aston Martin Aramco F1. They have said that it will result in many other products. The first is this watch, and it is on interest that Breitling has decided to take one of their most famous flight watches – the Navitimer and use it as the base model for this novelty. They do this by choosing to de-emphasise the Navitimer’s flight-instrument capabilities and highlight the same attributes for its use on the track. A clever pivot, as nothing much needs to change. Both are measuring high speed endeavours. Only one is in the air, the other on the track.

The case is now in titanium, the first time that Breitling has used the material in a Navitimer. But otherwise the watch is standard. The circular slide rule, made famous for navigating the skies, is now a mechanical calculator for the circuit. The usefulness of such a complicated and capable mechanical calculator is probably limited, especially on the F1 race track, where milliseconds count, but remains a romantic link to the world of mechanical engineering. The watch dial is in carbon-fiber, linking F1 to the watch. And carry the Aston Martin Aramco logo on the rotor as well as the team livery colour accents.

As indicated by the B01 designation, the movement is Breitling’s own B01 chronograph which is a time tested, reliable, dependable and accurate timepiece.

This partnership reignites Aston Martin’s debut in 1959 (thus the limitation number) to the world of F1 racing. And interestingly, the Aston Martin team drivers of that era like Graham Hill and Jim Clark wore Navitimers.

Pricing is set at USD 11.5k, a bit more than the regular Breitling B01 43mm which has a retail of USD 10.3k in stainless steel. The USD 1.2k buys the exclusivity to the collaboration as well as the change of case material from steel to titanium.
Release details Breitling Navitimer B01 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One
Breitling has been announced as Official Watch Partner of ultra luxury British automotive manufacturer Aston Martin, marking a compelling collaboration between two brands born from a fascination with speed and a meticulous attention to detail. Aston Martin and Breitling have joined forces to re-establish a connection that has been shared throughout history, with their stories moving in parallel for over a century.

As this shared legacy continues to evolve, fans of Breitling, Aston Martin, and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team can look forward to exclusive releases throughout the partnership’s multi-year run, which launches with the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Formula One™ Team, a timepiece that marks Breitling’s return to racing.
The first co-branded timepiece of the partnership puts the Navitimer back in the world of racing. Limited to 1,959 pieces, it pays tribute to the year of Aston Martin’s first foray into F1.

Every element of the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team reflects performance: Aston Martin Racing Green and lime accents drawn from the Aston Martin Aramco livery, a lightweight titanium case – the first ever used on a Navitimer – and a carbon fibre dial inspired by materials found in the cockpit of an F1 car. The textured leather strap recalls a racing harness, while enhanced night-time visibility keeps the watch legible under any conditions.
The open sapphire-crystal caseback reveals the watch’s engine: the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer with a 70-hour power reserve, built for absolute timing accuracy under pressure. Its matte-black rotor, developed specially for this edition, is made of tungsten coated with high-durability PVD (physical vapor deposition) and features the Aston Martin Aramco logo. Additional caseback engravings include ‘One of 1959’ and the phrase ‘Instruments for Drivers.’

From the chronograph to the car, the sky to the circuit, Breitling and Aston Martin have always shared a pursuit of speed. Now, they will come together again throughout the Grand Prix season.
The Breitling logo will be visible on the Aston Martin Aramco car and team apparel from the team’s season launch on 9 February, with the 2026 livery unveiled for the first time. The partnership makes its debut on the circuit at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, 6-8 March 2026.
As this shared legacy continues to evolve, fans of Breitling, Aston Martin, and Aston Martin Aramco can look forward to exclusive releases throughout the multi-year partnership. Time and speed, reunited.
